Daniel R Taylor and Uncle Robbie Thorpe are prosecuting Mark Regev (Benjamin Netanyahu’s Senior Advisor for Foreign Affairs and Communication) in the Magistrates Court in Melbourne. Regev is being charged with Advocacy for Genocide, section 80.2D of the Australian Criminal Code, for public comments advocating for Genocide of the Palestinian people in the Australian Media (as spelt out in the charge sheet below).
Daniel and Uncle Robbie require $3840 in costs to prosecute Mark Regev:
- $3000 for process-server,
- $640 for Hebrew translation and
- $200 for Magistrates Court Fees.
If Regev fails to appear on the 9th of October, the court must consider issuing an arrest warrant, making it vital to serve the summons on Mark Regev as soon as possible.

Yes, Daniel was the Taylor in Taylor v AG [2019] HCA 30.

But Daniel argues that the advocacy for genocide (section 80.2D) is outside Division 268– and further that a recent High Court case allows a Constitutional ruling that wasnt considered back in 2019:
