Join us at Camp Sovereignty on the 25th of April from 5pm to pay our respects to the fallen Indigenous warriors of the frontier wars. So called ‘Australia’ wants to recognise on this day the wars fought over seas, but they never want to recognise the First Nations people who died defending their Land from colonisation and genocide.
Under the stone at Camp Sovereignty lies the remains of Indigenous peoples representing 38 Nations that are now wrongfully bordered by the illegal state of ‘Victoria.’ It’s a sacred place and the fire is the eternal flame and spirit, burning long before colonisers arrived on these shores.
We will have a smoking ceremony, dances, music and the opportunity to learn more about those who defended their Land from British Invasion.
