Genocide Case
On the 10th of December 2024, International Human Rights Day, Uncle Robbie Thorpe and lawyer Daniel Taylor will be prosecuting Mark Regev (Benjamin Netanyahu’s former Senior Advisor for Foreign Affairs and Communication) in the Magistrates Court in Melbourne. Regev is being charged under section 80.2D of the Australian Criminal Code, Advocacy for Genocide, for public comments made in the Australian Media.
The prosecution against Mark Regev for advocating genocide while advisor to Prime Minister Netanyahu is significantly more advanced than the ICC prosecutions of Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant by the ICC. While the ICC case cannot proceed until the defendants are arrested, Mr Regev has already been served and the Victorian courts are the appropriate place for Mr Regev to be tried before a jury of his peers. It is Australia’s international obligation to prosecute.
To support Uncle Robbie and Dan Taylor’s case, you can send an email to the Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions, Mr David Bahlen, requesting that he file an indictment against Mr Regev for the charge of advocating Genocide.
To avoid spam filters, we strongly recommended you choose your own subject line and that you write a letter in your own words including these points, however we have included a full draft letter below as well, which you can change the wording of.
